The staff of Good Beginnings are hired (in accordance with the adult/child ratios required by the Day Nurseries Act) on the basis of their formal qualifications and experience with young children and their ability to care for children in a warm, loving, empathetic, creative and consistent manner.

PROGRAM POLICIES

A Child First is founded on the basic belief that a child is a child first in spite of individual differences. This service helps families with children up to age 12 who face challenges to normal development.

Good Beginnings School Age Program is committed to providing quality child care in a safe, warm, and well-supervised environment.

The program policies have been passed by the Board of Directors. This is to ensure that the Good Beginnings will run smoothly on a day to day basis. These policies correspond with the Ontario Day Nurseries Act.
